We are seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for our Post Surgical and Emergency departments!

Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator PSU and ED at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington:

  • The PSU Nurse Coordinator has the responsibility to plan, direct organize coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.

  • Ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, TJC, and all Federal and State standards of care.

  • The RN cares for all ages from 2 years to geriatric.

  • This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to the facility with a healthcare need and providing the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

  • This position reports to the PSU Manager and CNO and is in charge of the unit in the absence of the Manager.

  • All employees of the unit report to this position

Required Skills:

Education/Certifications:

·Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.

·Current Texas RN License

·Current BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred

Required Experience:

Required Experience:

·Minimum 2 years clinical experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery preferred

·Leadership and education experience is preferred.

·Minimum 2 years’ experience in ER or ICU required 

·Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Good organization habits.

·Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

·Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
