Analyst, USPI Managed Care - Dallas

The Managed Care Analyst will compile, analyze and interpret information for the Managed Care and Development teams. Responsibilities to include but not limited to data compilation and manipulation, building databases; billing file queries, revenue synergy analytics, supporting all areas of the USPI managed care team. The successful candidate will also be able to work effectively with the other departments that need managed care input/support.

Primary duties and responsibilities: 
  • Contract Compliance Support
  • Facility Credentialing coordination and database management
  • Contract database(s) input
  • Support communications to the field on managed care contracts/issues
  • Forecasting future revenue of potential acquisitions
  • Perform data queries as requested from various USPI database(s)
  • Participate in special projects
  • Complete data analysis, and make recommendations on the trends observed
  • Provide general business support and analysis for key growth and operational initiatives

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrates high level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) with emphasis within MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc) with ability to build databases
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects within a deadline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Aptitude to effectively synthesize information
  • Detail oriented; Highly organized
  • Self-starter
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Prefer 3-5 years of managed care experience (either provider or payor) with focus in areas such as contract management, credentialing, revenue cycle
