Specialties and services will include Orthopedic, Spine, Pain Management, General Plastic, and Ear, Nose and Throat surgery. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown is a part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI owns and operates multiple surgical hospitals and ambulatory surgical care centers throughout the United States and London; with headquarter located in Addison, TX.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Uptown is currently seeking an Operating Room Radiology Technologist for full time opportunities: The OR Radiology Technologist will perform multiple procedures under the direction of physicians, including the operation of special imaging equipment. Maintain a professional relationship with the physicians and staff.

Case Types

Total Joints:    ankle, elbow, hip, knee, shoulder.

Extremities:    pinnings, plates, nails.

Spine:      microdisc, ACDF, lumbar fusions, TLIF, ALIF, 360s

Breast biopsy, needle localizations




GE/OEC:    9900, Elite digital, Optima portable

Hologic:     Fluoroscan mini carm, Faxitron breast biopsy machine

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology

AART registered and CPR current

Current state license (MRT)

Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission regulations

Possess independent decision making skills

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects

Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families

Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way

One year hospital experience required (3+ preferred)

Will consider highly motivated recently licensed graduate
