Are you a passionate Pharmacist looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in healthcare? North Central Surgical Center is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, providing medication order verification, drug therapy monitoring, and patient care. Join our close-knit family-like team dedicated to treating patients as our own.
Schedule: Rotating shifts: 6a - 2:30p, 6a - 4:30p, 11:30a - 8p
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will verify medication orders, monitor drug therapies, compound and dispense medications, and act as a patient advocate. You'll supervise pharmacy technicians, participate in medical emergency response, and ensure prompt work-site attendance.
Required Skills:
Required qualifications
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Minimum of TWO years of hospital experience is required (waived with PGY1 & PGY2 pharmacy residency)
- Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency preferred
- Willingness to work weekend on-call shifts as needed
