Responsibilities
Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team.
Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center provides:
- Ophthalmology
- Cosmetic
- General Surgery
- Reconstructive
- Orthopedics
- Podiatry
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Otolaryngology/ENT
- Pain Management services.
Required Skills:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Florida Nursing License
- Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- CNOR preferred
- Strong operating room nurse experience required
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures
- Perform excellent management of the operative patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation
- Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics
- Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing
- Willingness to perform necessary downtime work
- Willingness to learn new tasks
