Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our Post Surgical Unit!
Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:
Within the Post Surgical Unit, the Patient Care Technician will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.
Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages.
Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN or LVN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing IV catheters, etc.
Cleans rooms if needed.
Assists RNs as instructed.
Any other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant Certification (MA), or equivalent
- BLS Required

Specific Job Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful

- Excellent clinical skills appropriate for an MA, NA, PC Assistant
