Responsibilities
Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse
Haymarket Surgery Center is a multi- specialty outpatient surgery center that is committed to patient excellence in every facet of patient contact. We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join our team.
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; candidates may be required to scrub and manage effectively the preparation of operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as well.
The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 6 months through adolescence. Our scope of service includes orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery including robotics, ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, pain management, and spine surgery.

Required Skills:
- Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the state of VA
- Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a OR RN required.
- BSN preferred.
