Memorial Hermann Surgery Kirby Glenn is seeking a motivated Per-Diem Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. Our fast-paced ASC environment is committed to providing the highest quality care and experience for our patients and their families.

EYES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Minimum 1 year

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. This role includes preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures. The Surgical Technologist supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.

Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients

  • Understanding and implementation of aseptic techniques

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills


Required Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technician program OR a minimum of two years of previous surgical technician experience

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with eye procedures is REQUIRED
