Mountain Empire Surgery Center prides itself on excellence in the patient experience. We are interested in adding an experienced scrub tech to our clinical team. The surgery center scrub tech anticipates the needs of the surgical team and establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

What You'll Do:

Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a sterile environment for procedures.

Anticipate surgeon's needs during surgeries, passing instruments and supplies accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a smooth flow of procedures, adjusting as needed.

Continuously monitor and assess patient and team safety, proactively resolving any potential issues.

Required Skills:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
  • Current CST certification
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
