We have a unique role at our outpatient endoscopy center in Lebanon, TN. We are seeking a part time (20hrs/wk) Patient Care Technician. This individual will assist the nurses in traditional Patient Care Tech duties and will also help out in our business office. This individual will also have the opportunity to train as a GI Tech in our procedure room. We are willing to train in the business office but front and back office experience would be beneficial. This center has very little turnover and is looking for someone to learn and grow with the team!

  • Seeking someone with flexible availability 20hrs/wk
  • Our hours of operation are M-F, daytime hours
  • No weekends/call
  • MA/CNA Required

DESCRIPTION Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. 

Business office duties: front desk receptionist, scheduling, insurance verification, and other medical business office tasks as needed BENEFITS Our competitive salary and benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off and life insurance.

Required Skills:

Certified Nurse Assistant or clinical training preferred One year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified is preferred Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories Patient Interviewing skills Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
