Patient Care Technician/CNA
Flatirons Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician or CNA to join our team!
Flatirons Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality of care and experience for patients and their families.
Job Description and Duties:
Provides direct patient care by assisting patients within the perioperative setting including changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical operations with a positive impact on patient satisfaction and overall culture.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current CPR or BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
- Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.

Medical Assistant, CNA, or clinical training preferred
One year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified is preferred
Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
Ability to perform routine procedures, such as EKG
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
Experience within the perioperative clinical setting, preferred.
