Responsibilities

PRN OR RN (Registered Nurse) - Multispecialty Surgery Center

Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate OR RN to join our exceptional healthcare team. Our state-of-the-art, multispecialty surgery center is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. If you are a motivated and skilled operating room nurse looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including the administration of medications and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.

Required Skills:

Current and valid RN license in the state of Virginia.

Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or acute care setting.

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
