Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team! Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is a physician owned surgical hospital specializing in Orthopedic surgeries,
Under the direction of the CNO, the Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include:
- Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
- Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
- May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.
Required Skills:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
- Current BLS certification
- Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of employment.
- Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
