PRN OR RN (No weekends, no holidays and no call required)
Advanced Surgery Center of Metairie is a leading multispecialty ambulatory surgery center committed to providing high-quality outpatient surgical care. Our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology, serves a diverse range of specialties, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and outcomes. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, providing comprehensive nursing care in the operating room.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control standards and best practices.
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and assist in various surgical procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
