Providence Holy Cross Surgery Center at Mission Hills is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. 

What You Will Do  (Job Summary):   

The Lead Scrub Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the surgical services department. This position is responsible for providing expert scrub assistance during surgeries while managing and coordinating the inventory of surgical supplies and equipment in collaboration with the Materials Manager. The Lead Scrub Technician will report directly to the Operating Room Manager and will oversee scrub technician activities, assist in training, and support materials management tasks to ensure that the operating room is well-equipped and organized for all surgical procedures.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Free Parking

Hourly Range: $24 - $46, depending on experience

Required Skills:

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification is preferred or on job training with education documented 
  • 1+ years experience as a Scrub Tech or Endo Tech in an OR setting.
  • Preferred experience in materials management and inventory control, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced , dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Stron organization skills and attention to detail 
  • Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to mentor and train staff.
