We are looking for a compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team, to continue our quest in delivering excellent patient care.
Please note that the starting salary for this position is set between 69k/annually to 85k/annually.
About the Opportunity
Under general direction from Director of Operations, the Business Office Manager will oversee the daily operations while encouraging and maintaining a warm, supportive work culture providing high quality, patient-focused care. Strong organizational skills, tactical planning, overcoming obstacles and objectives. and problem-solving skills will be essential to success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implements strategic plan and organizational goals in cooperation with Executive Director, Managing Partner, and Management team.
- Oversees day-to-day operations of the organization, including physicians and management personnel.
- Manages daily practice operations, covering patient engagement, facility management, budget management, and HR.
- Monitors financial performance and key indicators.
- Collaborates with Executive Director and Managing Partner to develop and implement corrective actions to meet/exceed performance goals.
- Strategizes methods to meet/exceed monthly budget parameters in partnership with the Executive Director.
- Oversees Revenue Cycle Team to ensure claims processing and collections comply with current initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and managed care plans
- Experience with medical computer billing systems
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians and all medical professionals
Required Experience:
- Background in medical administration, business, or a related area, or comparable experience desired
- 5+ years’ experience in progressive leadership roles
- Surgical experience preferred
- Ophthalmology/Optometry office experience preferred
