Responsibilities

Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist

New Salem Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Certified Surgical Technologist at our state-of-the-art Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures across various specialties. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating room before and after surgeries.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment during procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as required.
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control policies.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting is required.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
