GI Endoscopy Technician FT
Responsibilities
Sign-On Bonus $3,500
GulfShore Endoscopy Center in Naples, Florida, is looking for a full time Endoscopy Technician.
Purpose of Job: Provide support to physicians performing procedures. Responsible for the care, handling and processing of endoscopy procedural equipment, and turnover of the procedure rooms. Acts as an advocate for the patient and maintains safety,
confidentiality and dignity of the patient at all times.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or G.E.D required
Basic Life Support certification required
Must be self-motivated, professional and maintain a positive attitude
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Follows established protocols to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors.
Demonstrates current competencies applicable to the position.
Demonstrates correct use of instruments, devices, and suction, as directed by the physician;
Assists team members in preparing the endoscopy suite for procedures.
Assists in appropriate care, handling, and cleaning of equipment and instruments.
Assists in terminal cleaning of the endoscopy suite between cases and at the end of the day.
Follows established protocols for preparing, using, and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
