Summit Ambulatory Surgical Center (“Summit ASC”) in Owings Mills, MD is looking for a perioperative Team Lead RN for our Continence Center team! 

About Us:

We are a collection of 16 single-specialty urology ASCs with locations across the State of Maryland. In collaboration with our partner physicians at Chesapeake Urology Associates, we strive to provide excellence in urologic surgical care by treating each and every one of our patients, and their families, as if they were our own family member – each patient, each family, each and every time.

At our Continence Center, patients receive specialized care from a dedicated team to treat voiding disorders.

About The Role:

Monday through Friday during ASC operating hours withno nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call.

At Summit, we know that our clinical team is the backbone of the ASC. Our perioperative RNs work in Pre-op, PACU and in the OR and procedure rooms circulating.

The Continence Center Team Lead RN will spend 50% of their time as a perioperative nurse for procedures performed in the Continence Center and 50% of their time reviewingPre-Admission Testing (PAT) for patients undergoing procedures in our ASC's.

About You:

You are a team player who is looking for an ASC RN position where you can be more than just a number and really contribute to the success of a growing and thriving healthcare organization.

You have a degree in nursing, an RN license in the State of Maryland and BLS/ACLS.

Your experience includes working in a fast-paced, healthcare environment. Ideally, you have experience in a perioperative RN role at an ASC or hospital, but if not, you may have worked on L&D or in a GYN office. Any experience with urology of course means urine business!


Required Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or lesser degree and commensurate experience.

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in perioperative care.
  • CPR and ACLS certification is required.
