The Orthopedic And Spine Inpatient Surgical (O.A.S.I.S) Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. Under the supervisor of the Laboratory Manager the Phlebotomist performs aseptic venipuncture procedures to obtain venous and capillary blood samples for analysis.  This position also performs clerical duties to provide support for and assistance to laboratory personnel in the management of the laboratory.  The Phlebotomist adheres to policies/procedures that meet federal and state regulations and accreditation standards. 

**This position has an flat pay rate of $15.75/hr. with no shift differential eligibility


Required Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year phlebotomist/lab experience preferred
  • Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards related to phlebotomy/lab
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to detect color and color changes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
