OASIS Hospital is seeking a RN Med Surg (Post Surgical Unit) Full Time Days to join our team! This position offers a $5K Sign on Bonus!**

The Orthopedic And Spine Inpatient Surgical (O.A.S.I.S) Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. OASIS Hospital provides excellent patient services and the highest level of care, with the overall goal of improving the delivery of healthcare in Maricopa County and beyond.

NO COVID PATIENT CARE - We are an orthopedic and spine surgical hospital and provide excellent care pre and post surgery.  

Job Summary: The RN position at OASIS Hospital has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

  • Responsible for providing all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
  • Ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care.
  • Cares for ages adolescent to geriatric.
  • Assigned to respond to patients presenting to the facility with a healthcare need and providing the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.

Required Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
  • 2 years clinical experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
  • Current Arizona RN License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • PALS recommended (not required).
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Good organization habits.
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.

**Sign on bonus is paid 50% at 6 months of employment, and 50% at 12 months of employment.**
