The Orthopedic And Spine Inpatient Surgical (O.A.S.I.S) Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. Under the supervision of the Director of Inpatient Services, the Resource RN is responsible for assisting the Charge Nurse in directing the workflow of the PSU/ICU units. This position is also responsible for assisting PSU staff with daily workflow, answering call lights, providing lunch relief, and mentoring staff. The Resource RN also works with the Director of Inpatient Services and Charge Nurse on Performance Improvement audits and activities. In addition to the responsibilities listed for the Resource RN, this position also is responsible for performing the duties of the PSU Registered Nurse to include some critical care.
- Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience as an RN in hospital ICU/Telemetry.
- Critical Care or ICU experience required.
- Current Arizona RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good organization habits.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
**Sign on bonus payout: 1/2 paid at 6 months and 1/2 paid at 1 year.
