The GI Tech/sterilization Tech at Baylor Surgicare at Plano:
Job Summary:
The Sterilization Tech cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation, sterilization devices, instrument washers and monitoring systems. The GI Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.

Requirement:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years in endo or gastro experience, preferably in an ASC or outpatient setting
- Current BLS and CPR certifications
