Charlotte Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated Front Desk Registration Clerk to join our team.
Charlotte Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. At Charlotte Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable and we focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. With one operating room and two treatment rooms, our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Endoscopy and Ophthalmology.
The Front Desk Registration Clerk interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff. Admits patients and process their paperwork. Updates patient demographics/information in system. Collects monies due and documents in billing system. Handles funds per office procedure. You will have the opportunity to meet new people and build professional relationships with physician offices. Cross training for other Business Office positions a possibility.
Required Skills:
*High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not needed.
*One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
*Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
*Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
*Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
*Good communication skills.
