We are currently searching for a FULL TIME OR RN.
ADVANCED SURGERY CENTER of SARASOTA is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center, performing outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Pain Management & Podiatry. Position Overview: As a Full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the success and safety of surgical procedures across various specialties. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall patient experience in our surgery center.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
- Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room.
- Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery.
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Required Experience:
Qualifications
- - Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
- - Experience in surgery.
- - Current Florida RN License
- - BLS, ACLS and PALS required
- - CNOR preferred
- - Critical thinking skills.
- - Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
- Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
