Our state-of-the-art facility specializes in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in our commitment to excellence, innovation, and compassionate care, serving our community with integrity and professionalism.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN plays a vital role in providing perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgeons and surgical staff during procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, equipment, and instruments.
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams by anticipating needs and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to all infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical operations.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Skills:
  • Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Must graduate from a Texas Board of Nursing–approved accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of one year of OR nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain before start date).
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.

  • Clinical Expertise: Strong understanding of perioperative nursing care and sterile techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to anticipate surgical needs and ensure precision in a fast-paced environment.
