Responsibilities
The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Vero Beach, performing outpatient procedures in General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Plastic/Reconstruction, Podiatry, Robotic Total Joints, and Spine.

The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach, Florida, is seeking a motivated CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.
The Certified Nursing Assistant would be transporting patients downstairs, calling patients with surgery times, building charts and obtaining missing documentation from office, restocking, assisting RNs as needed, etc.

Required Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- One year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified; outpatient surgery, hospital, or doctor's office experience is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
- Patient Interviewing skills
- Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
- Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
