Job Summary: Perform the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following:
- Performs all radiographic procedures as written in Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Notifies department director of equipment/machine malfunction.
- Follows policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Radiology Tech according to accepted standards.
- Adheres to Policies and Procedures as defined by Infection Control.
- Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge of all radiographic procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of reporting system of radiology findings to physician. Serves as a resource to other members of the health care team.
- Acts in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center. Maintains patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy.
- Follows the Center's professional conduct and dress code policy.
- Communicates effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, patients and employees.
- Assists with other responsibilities of Center as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Graduate of an approved school of radiology technician.
- Currently certified in the state. BLS certification.
- One year experience required.
- Familiar with medical terminology

Responsible for performing high quality radiographs.
He / she shall strive to minimize patient wait time in the department and shall do his / her best to educate patients / families about procedures being performed.
Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services and pain intervention procedures that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
