Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab to join our team at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Brazoria. This role is essential in ensuring seamless surgical and patient care operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality care, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement all physician orders and provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients, with ongoing evaluation of patient condition
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
- Assist physicians in the procedure room as appropriate, including conscious sedation and sterile technique
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all needs of the Cardiac Cath Lab team are met
- Perform cardiac assessments per Cath Lab policy and conduct reassessments as needed
- Recognize, evaluate, and correct errors, adapting quickly to changing patient conditions
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and ethical behavior
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and fellow employees
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas RN license
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required or obtainable
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
- Understanding of aseptic technique and its implementation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, accountability, and receptiveness to change

Required Experience:
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Prior experience in ambulatory surgery or hospital settings advantageous
- Familiarity with procedure room setup, instrumentation, and patient monitoring
- Experience collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
