Pharmacist at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington:
·The Pharmacist is responsible for daily operations, personnel management and regulatory compliance of pharmacy services for the facility, when on duty without the Director being present
·This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
·The Pharmacist communicates the needs of the department to The Director of the Department and collaborates with medical staff regarding prescriptive issues and therapy recommendations.
·The Pharmacist supports management team in meeting facility goals.

·IV Certification (ACPE certified)

·Have two (2) to five (5) years hospital pharmacy experience.
·Demonstrate competent knowledge of the development needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
·Knowledge of Joint Commission and Medicare standards affecting pharmacy.
·Must possess ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
·Possess the ability to deal tactfully with all types of personnel, medical staff and the public.
·Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
·Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management.
