Atherton, California Pacific Endoscopy, LLC (15002)Atherton Endoscopy Center is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant - full time to join our team. Atherton Endoscopy Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Under the direction of the Administrator and RN, aids in preparing the patients for procedures, and communicates effectively with patients, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
- Accesses patient health information in the clinical EHR and accurately enters it into the Center’s electronic health record, as applicable.
- Assists patients in all areas of care and mobility.
- Assists with checking patients in, rooms patients, and obtains and records vital signs; reports any abnormalities immediately to RN.
- Ensures accurate documentation of care in the medical record.
- Prepares and communicates schedules to appropriate departments such as anesthesia.
- Maintains a clean work environment by cleaning reusable equipment, according to policy and procedure and manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Turns over and sets up procedure room and patient care areas.
- Maintains and order supplies.
- Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiency, while providing services that exceed customer expectations, and improving clinical and financial operations
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
Starting pay range for this position is between $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday work schedule!
- NO call required!
- NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!

Required Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant or Patient Care Technician clinical training a plus.
- BLS certification required (can be certified once hired)
- One Year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified Is preferred
