Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Resurgens Surgical Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. The list of physician owners or investors is available to you upon request. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of: General Orthopedic, Outpatient Joint Replacement, Spine, Outpatient Spine Program, Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Foot and Ankle, and Hand and Upper Extremity.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) 
The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The OR RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Current GA Nursing License
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
