Operating Room Charge Nurse
Austin, Texas Medical Park Tower Surgery Ctr (11802)USPI Medical Park Tower Surgery Centeris seeking a motivated Operating Room Charge Nurse to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
Job Summary: As the Operating Room Charge Nurse, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OR, ensuring the highest quality patient care, promoting team efficiency, and fostering a positive environment. You will act as a clinical resource for staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Three (3) years' experience in intra-operative setting.
- Current Texas RN License- BLS
- CNOR preferred
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
