USPI Surgery Center of Boerne is seeking a motivated Surgical Coordinator to join our team. Situated just north of San Antonio. We have 3 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, General, Orthopedics. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. The candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all patients for the surgery center.  The position has significant communication requirements with practice offices.  The job requires excellent communication skills to build collegial relationships with surgeons, patients and staff.  The position may also require assisting with insurance verification and/or other areas key to the continuity of patient care.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical environment 
• 2-3 years of scheduling experience 
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Basic typing and computer experience
