West Bozeman Surgery Center has an immediate need for a PRN - Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op/PACU! We are looking for a top-performer with solid knowledge of Pre-operative and Post-operative Recovery Nursing. This is a fast-paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes.

West Bozeman Outpatient Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.We believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service-oriented environment for our patient’s surgical procedures. Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Free Parking 


Required Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN license to practice in the state of Montana.
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting.   PreOP/PACU, or Critical Care experience preferred.  
  • Experience working in an ASC is a plus.
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be team-oriented and patient-focused.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
