Insurance Verifier at Bristol Ambulatory Surgery Center:
·The Insurance Verification Coordinator (IVC) is responsible for validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system.
·Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patient follow-ups.
·The IVC will determine patient responsibility and collect payments prior to patient procedure date.
·Also responsible for entering patient refund requests into the Refund Portal and maintaining the Expected Pay Log.
·Must communicate well and professionally with patients.
Qualifications
Education:
· High School Diploma
Required Experience:
·1 Year of medical insurance verification REQUIRED
·Experience with AdvantX, using Care Credit and Transaction Express a plus!
