At Bristol Ambulatory Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. Our AAAHC-accredited, physician-owned facility ambulatory surgery center offering advanced technology across multiple specialties including Cosmetic, ENT, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spine.
We’re looking for a Billing & Collections Specialist to join our business office team! This role ensures accurate and timely billing, coding, and reimbursement, helping us deliver a seamless experience for our patients and providers.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims and patient accounts.
- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve billing inquiries.
- Manage accounts receivable and handle insurance denials efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with coding regulations and payer requirements.
- Communicate professionally with patients, payers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in an ASC or surgical setting.
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office tools.
- High school diploma required; certification in medical billing/coding a plus.
