Welcome to Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton, is seeking a motivated Preop/PACU RN to join our team. Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.  

Preop/PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
