As an ophthalmic technician at Pankratz Eye Institute, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

Ophthalmic Technician at Pankratz Eye Institute:
The Ophthalmic Technician provides technical services to assigned ophthalmic patients and assists ophthalmologists or optometrists in the examination and treatment of eye disorders. Takes patient history, conducts visual screening, and performs various technical procedures. Ophthalmic Technician prepares patients for exams and procedures. Operates, maintains and sanitizes ophthalmic equipment and instruments. Additionally, Ophthalmic Technician may assist physicians in performing minor surgical and laser procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification preferable.
- At least 1 year of Ophthalmology Surgical Tech experience
- BLS certification required
