We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Office Clerk to join our administrative team. This role will support accounts payable responsibilities while providing essential front desk and business office support, including patient check-in, chart preparation, scheduling, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, financial processing experience, and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Front desk duties, including patient check-in and chart preparation.
  • Data entry: posting payments and updating patient demographics.
  • Assist with scheduling patient appointments and procedures.
  • Process accounts payable invoices: verify accuracy, obtain approvals, and prepare payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Assist with patient billing, payment posting, and collections as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with billing inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
  • Support other business office functions as needed.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical office administration, accounts payable, or patient registration preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical billing and scheduling systems a plus.
