We are seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in outpatient surgical care.

Job Summary
The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgical procedures. This role involves positioning and prepping the patient, circulating cases, and ensuring a smooth and safe surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the surgical setting.
  • Assist in positioning, prepping, and circulating during surgical cases.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to maintain a seamless workflow.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Support patient education and post-operative care instructions.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership and teaching capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an intra-operative setting.
  • Previous experience in an ASC or hospital surgical unit preferred.
