Conroe Surgery Center is a trusted outpatient surgical facility serving the Conroe community with safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. We are seeking a Quality Manager who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring continuous compliance and improvement throughout the center. This full-time role is essential to maintaining regulatory readiness, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and driving high standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the facility’s Quality, Performance Improvement (PI), and Patient Safety programs in alignment with USPI and regulatory standards
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, and other state/federal regulatory agencies
  • Lead, track, and report all quality and regulatory metrics, including QAPI initiatives and performance dashboards
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCA), event investigations, and corrective action plans as needed
  • Coordinate and lead committee meetings such as Quality, Infection Control, and Safety
  • Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements
  • Manage infection prevention activities, including surveillance, reporting, and staff education
  • Review policies and procedures for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely updates
  • Support staff training, competency oversight, and education related to quality and patient safety
  • Prepare the center for internal audits, external surveys, and accreditation visits
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all quality-related activities
  • Serve as the point of contact for incident reporting, patient complaints, and risk management follow-ups

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or healthcare professional with relevant clinical or quality background
  • Previous experience in quality management, compliance, performance improvement, or patient safety—preferably in an ASC or surgical setting
  • Strong understanding of AAAHC, CMS, and regulatory standards
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to interpret quality data
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

  • Experience leading QAPI initiatives and regulatory survey preparation
  • Hands-on involvement with quality data, metrics, and reporting
  • Background collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams
