USPI Shoreline Surgery Centeris seeking a motivated Endoscopy Technician to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Must be able to work early morning hours; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Job Summary: Medical Assistant assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED

Medical Assistant

CPR Certified
2+ years’ experience in established endoscopy center, preferred but NOT required. Will train right candidate.
Working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures. Preferred but NOT required.
