Responsibilities
Resurgens East Surgery Center is a single specialty outpatient surgical center dedicated to providing patients unrivaled quality care in a safe and economical setting. Unlike traditional hospitals, patients are afforded the opportunity to recover in the comfort of their own homes. Our staff is dedicated to providing the same high-level of patient care that is received in a hospital setting. We are seeking a FT OR RN experienced in circulating to join our amazing staff!
Job Summary:
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; candidates may be required to scrub and manage effectively the preparation of operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as well. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric patient. Our scope of service includes orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, and spine surgery.

Education/Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Minimum two years previous OR experience.
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
