We are currently seeking a dedicated and team-focused Charge Nurse to support our surgical services department. This role plays a key part in coordinating daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care in alignment with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide clinical guidance and serve as a resource for pre-op, intra-op, and PACU nursing teams
- Oversee patient flow to ensure timely, efficient care delivery
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and leadership to support departmental goals
- Monitor patient care standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support staff education, training, and ongoing competency development
- Assist with scheduling, staffing assignments, and daily operational needs
- Act as a mentor and role model, fostering a supportive and engaged team culture
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements

Required Experience:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
- Proven track record of clinical management and operational excellence.
