We are currently seeking a collaborative and strategic Clinical Director to lead our surgical services department. This role is responsible for clinical oversight, staff development, and operational efficiency to ensure safe, high-quality care in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction for pre-op, intra-op, and PACU teams
  • Oversee daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and executive leadership to support departmental and hospital-wide initiatives
  • Monitor quality indicators and patient outcomes, developing action plans for improvement as needed
  • Recruit, hire, and retain top clinical talent while fostering a culture of accountability, support, and engagement
  • Conduct regular staff education, training, and competency assessments
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing models, and supply utilization strategies
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for both patients and staff

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.

Required Experience:
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
  • Proven track record of clinical management and operational excellence.
