FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently Located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry surgeries. - Primarily responsible for the onboarding process and new hire orientation, preparing on-boarding/off-boarding notices and related documentation
- Maintains electronic personnel files and uploads all documents timely and accurately
- Assists with benefits administration, including FMLA, Employee Assistance and communicates benefit information to employees
- Assists with recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
- Maintains accurate and current personnel files for employees and contractor/agency personnel
- Assists with evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
- Participates in developing department goals and processes
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the department and services performed continually.
- Strives to meet the needs of all customers by answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly
- Assists in the interpretation, maintenance, and advising of personnel policies and procedures for all organization personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of general HR experience
- Hospital experience preferred; knowledge of Joint Commission requirements and licensure a plus
- Knowledge and experience with Kronos timekeeping and ADP are preferable
- Computer proficiency required
- Customer service orientated
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must understand the confidential nature of Human Resources
- Ability to multitask
- Detail oriented
