• Phlebotomy duties.
• Routine laboratory procedures related to preparing human biological samples for microbiological, hematological, and chemical analysis.
• Performs routine and stat laboratory testing, including (but not necessarily limited to) CBC, BMP, CMP, PT, PTT, UA, PFA, rapid flu, rapid strep, occult blood, hCG, and hemoglobin A1c testing.
• Scanning of documents into patients’ charts in Cerner.
• Other duties as needed by laboratory director or supervisor.

·High School diploma or equivalent

·Associate degree or higher in medical laboratory technology; or bachelor's in medical technology, clinical lab science or related science

·ASCP or AMT registration as an MT/MLT/CLS preferred

·At least one year experience in Laboratory setting

·Phlebotomy certification or eligible preferred.

·Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards.

·Basic computer skills.

·Ability to detect color and color changes.

·BLS by AHA or obtain within 30 days from hire date
