FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms.  We are conveniently Located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry and Bariatric surgeries. We are currently looking for a Multi-Modality Technologist to join our Imaging team. 

  • Schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 7p - 7a

Job Summary:

The technologist will be responsible for relieving the Operating Room X-ray Tech on site and covering all emergent X-rays and CT from the ED and the Inpatient areas. When the Imaging work is complete, you will be asked to support the inpatient area with a variety of tasks.

Required Skills:
  • Must possess strong patient satisfaction skill set
  • Must possess independent decision making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple patients
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and their family
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • AART Registered in Radiology and CT
  • Experience with the following equipment is desired: C-arm (large and mini), Digital Portable X-ray equipment, CT GE Evolution with Power Injector
  • BLS current
  • Must have a current Texas state license to Texas Medical Board
  • 3 years of hospital experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
