The STAR Program, Market Performance Manager, serves as a strategic leader and resource for the rollout of the USPI preferred patient accounting systems (PAS). This leader will serve as a liaison between USPI/Tenet IS, PMO, Market Leadership, Revenue Cycle Services, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center Client.
This position is responsible for providing leadership to the Revenue Cycle Management, Ambulatory Surgery Center Clients in all areas relating to business operations and revenue impacting workflow including, but not limited to, inventory tracker reconciliation, defining tactical objectives, and process improvement initiatives, executing training of facility and market performance managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direction and development support to Client's Business Office leadership to ensure Client's strategic objectives are met along with all key Revenue Cycle performancemetrics.
- Partners with Client's management team and appropriate stakeholders to performdetailed reviews of revenue cycle and operationmetrics.
- In coordination with STAR Program Leadership serve as a liaison between functional teams to ensure facilities hit their required go live milestones.
- DeliversongoingtraininganddevelopmentsupporttoMarket Performance Team to ensure a smooth steady state hand off.
- Challenges the best practices and seeks opportunities to drive processimprovements.
- Develops and implements action plans to address and improve deficiencies in process and performance asidentified.
- Participates with providing comprehensive, succinct updates to STAR Program Leadership in order to drive awareness of any Client support requirements and/or risks that could impact PAS conversion success.
- PerformsotherdutiesasassignedbyDirector, Strategic Initiatives, as required to meet the business needs of USPI and other stakeholders.

- Bachelor's Degree orequivalent demonstrated academic achievement.
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Operations and Revenue Cycleexperience.
- Minimum of 2 years of managementexperience.
- StrongunderstandingofRevenueCycleOperationswithinanASCsettingand/or demonstrated, relevantknowledge.
- Provensuccessinprojectmanagementroles,toincludedevelopingandimplementing businessinitiatives.
- Understandingoftheindustrytrends,marketdynamics,andkeyperformanceindicators.
- SIS experience preferred
